Tourist Hotel

For an affordable two-star stay, this place has a lot going for it. The interior and rooms look modern, mine was a standard room with a city view, and it was clean with a decent toilet. Breakfast has around eight options, including an English breakfast, and the price is reasonable. The staff at reception weren’t strong in English, but they were helpful. Trolleybus 2 to the old town stops right outside, so getting around is easy. There’s AC, though I wasn’t sure whether the room heater worked, as I didn’t ask. No generator if the power goes out. The room has a sewing kit, shower cap, cotton buds, slippers and a sanitary pad bag, while a dental kit and robe cost extra. I think it may have been renovated since the older reviews. Add a few more facilities and it could pass for three stars. I’d recommend it to travelers looking for a good, inexpensive place to stay.

Never again. The room was awful, with a filthy toilet and shower, and a bad smell throughout. There was no WiFi or hot water. Be careful, the claims that the rooms are okay just aren’t true.

It's cheap, and there's always a free room available.
