A nice place, and cheap too.

We had a weekend at the guest house "Vesela Sadyba" with our children and friends. It was quiet, cozy, and beautiful, just right for getting away from the city's bustle and relaxing. The clean, comfortable rooms added to the peaceful feel. By the barbecue area, there’s a cozy dining room with a fireplace, benches, and pillows, the so-called "yushkarnya". It made a lovely spot for spending the evening together. We were very satisfied, came away with good feelings, and got the reset we wanted. We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve already visited "Vesela Sadyba" and will definitely return, more than once. It feels like a little Ukrainian wonder, with traditional decor, food, and everyday details that bring a grandmother’s home to mind, along with the conveniences of modern life. The place is warm, quiet, and so calming. After all the explosions, worries, and tension, it felt like somewhere I could finally exhale. Sleeping here was wonderful too, with no big-city noise, alarms, or sirens. The food is homemade and generous: kachana kasha, an old Ukrainian handmade dish that’s hard to find elsewhere, along with dumplings, pancakes, roasts, breakfasts, and natural cheeses they make themselves. The taste of the kasha was unreal. Even if you don’t order anything, there’s an electric kettle, water, and herbal tea in individual packets waiting in the room. The owner is very hospitable and attentive to the little things. Firewood is ready if you want to use the fireplace or barbecue, fresh trash bags are on the porch, and the rooms are very clean, warm, and homelike. You can tell they’ve taken care of you before you even arrive. In Veselivka near Poltava, the peace seems to smell of dry hay, warm wood, and herbal tea. The silence is therapeutic. Thank you for this corner of warmth and calm. I’ve fallen in love with this place 💛💙
