Arcadia Gold Apartments

The place was clean and quiet, but my experience was awful. The staff were strangely rude and spoke to people terribly. At check-in they tried to charge me an extra €400 per day, even though I'd already booked and paid. They said my room had been rented to someone else and they'd give me a more luxurious one. Just ridiculous. Getting to Arkadia was a problem too, since the apartments are behind Gegarina hotel. The women I spoke to were on the phone, didn't know English, and wouldn't give me the right address. It felt like they just wanted to get rid of me after renting me the room. You have to ask several times to get cleaning. And if you don't know Russian well, be careful. They don't tell you anything about the minibar until checkout, when they start calculating charges and asking what you ate or drank during your stay. I couldn't remember, and the woman got angry and asked how I couldn't remember what I'd eaten the previous week. They don't even have a list of what they supplied. Long story short, they work like scammers. No welcome, no smiles, just angry people at reception who don't know English. Don't expect more than that.
