Atlantic Garden Resort

My experience was poor across the board, including the food, rooms, and the crowds of loud guests. The service was terrible. Juice got spilled on my belongings, but nobody apologized or offered to have them dry-cleaned. They even deactivated my key card to make a point, so I couldn't get into my own room with my luggage. I definitely wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The pool was spotless, better than most hotel pools I've swum in in the US, and we used it and the gym every day. I was surprised by the full fitness room. The restaurant was great too. I ate there three times, and it was a handy choice when I was tired and didn't want to go out. I tried breakfast once. It was fine, and the others in my party enjoyed it a lot. The lounge was also great. The staff were super friendly. Housekeeping came daily to freshen the room and towels, and the sheets were super clean. The bed was very soft and comfortable. I stayed by myself, so the two full sized beds pushed together worked fine for me. If there are two of you, I'd ask them to make up a queen bed. My room was a little small, though there are larger rooms if you need more space. It was modern and clean, with a desk refrigerator and a nice, clean bathroom. It's not a 5-star hotel, but in a country at war, this was as close as you could get. The location was perfect, right by the upscale mall with tons of restaurants. It's a 3 min walk to a beautiful central park with a lake, though I don't know its name, and a 5 min walk to Arcadia, then a few more minutes to the beach. You don't go to Odesa to stay in your room. I was there for 8 nights in April and was very pleased. I've stayed in many hotels while traveling UA over the last 2 years, and this one tops my list. ZERO complaints.

The location was convenient for getting around, and the hotel was new and very clean. The pool and gym in the SPA area were very good, but the dry sauna was closed for renovation. The beach and commercial centre were about 2km away. It's not actually a beachfront property like the pictures suggest. Breakfast had limited options. I expected more from a 4* hotel.

The hotel itself is new and nice, but the service was horrible. The staff seemed completely out of their depth. I loved the place when I was here 2 years ago, and the restaurant was gorgeous. This time, my experience shocked me. What have you done, guys?
