The manager was incredibly rude, and breakfast wasn't available even though it was advertised all over the web. They also charge extra to use the gym, despite listing it among the amenities, right beside the 24hr front desk. That's supposed to be a four-star hotel. Terrible.

For the price, this is genuinely a four-star hotel. It was remodeled in April 2016, and the lobby is on the seventh floor, with the hotel occupying the top three floors. My room was fairly large and had two twin beds and a decent minibar, though it was a bit cold. The marble-tiled bathroom had strong shower pressure and hot water, the best shower I've had in Ukraine. Breakfast was okay at 190 uah and convenient, but you could explore elsewhere. In November, the restaurant seemed to be closed.

The room was big and the location was good. The rest was disappointing: it felt expensive for what you get, and despite the non-smoking policy, the rooms smelled of cigarettes. Breakfast was pretty bad, too. We asked for coffee once and were told we'd have to pay, then the next time they refused to make it. What?

The buffet breakfast was included in the price and was good. The staff were polite and capable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. It's a beautiful hotel. I'd suggest mussels or grilled fish, with a glass of white wine, then coffee on the restaurant terrace.

A good choice for a stay, in my opinion. The hotel is part of Black Sea Hotel Groups and is in a good location. The rooms and lobby were clean, though the ninth floor was under construction and the breakfast room was closed.
