The beachside location is good, and some of the staff were helpful, but it was noisy, with music going all night. Breakfast was good too. There was a wedding when we arrived, and the pool was closed because of it. I was moved on the beach since I was apparently blocking the wedding view. Later, to get back to the hotel, I had to leave and walk around the whole setup. Nobody explained or apologized. Guests should have been told about the wedding, and the hotel should have offered something to make up for the trouble.

The hookah and wine were good, and our waiter paid attention to us. But the beach felt like a public one, with a charge of 250 UAH for each spot by the sea. A little wind kept pushing our umbrellas around and bending them, and the flies and midges didn't help. I'd rate it 3.5 out of 5.

The Black Sea view was breathtaking, and the suites and pool were beautiful. The water quality in the pool was great, too. I came from Los Angeles and loved my stay. The food was amazing, the staff were friendly, and the service was great. Menus were available in English. I'd definitely return and recommend the Portofino to everyone.

The staff were kind, helpful, and good. I spent a weekday here and found the pool and beach access reasonably priced. The bar and restaurant were quite expensive: beer cost four to five times what you'd pay in a regular store, and food was pricey too. For me, a meal would cost about as much as a day's enjoyment there. Pool area access and services also ended fairly early in the evening.

The food was good, though the menu could use more choices. The staff were very hospitable. It's right by the sea, with a nice meeting hall and large rooms, most of them overlooking the water.
