Fontan Prestige Hotel

We had a fantastic vacation, and the location was excellent. There’s underground parking, supermarkets nearby, and the sea is a 7-minute drive away. The grounds are beautiful, and the rooms are clean, comfortable, and have everything you need. The restaurant food is delicious. Minor issues didn’t bother us much. The service and staff’s attitude toward guests deserve special praise. If you’re going to Odessa, you can stay here without a second thought. Well done, guys!

Street noise came right through the double-glazed windows, and the big, hard pillows made it hard to get comfortable. The room was clean and nicely equipped, but still wasn’t comfortable. Breakfast wasn’t included. The hotel restaurant looked nice, with lovely tableware, but the food disappointed. The poached eggs were just boiled eggs, the quinoa bowl was only greens with no dressing, and there was “chef’s hair” on the plate. For three people, the bill came to 720 UAH. Are you serious? 😟 I said I understood, but not for 720 UAH 🤬. Alisa, the waitress, tried to smooth things over, while the receptionist on site didn’t respond. They took the salad off the bill and gave us a 10% discount, so thanks for that. There’s always somewhere else to stay in Odessa. I think the guys will sort out the issues soon and make this a pleasant hotel for business trips, which I understand is the intended format.

When the alarm went off today, we ran into the first nearby parking lot to shelter from the missiles. A woman came out and told us it was private and we couldn’t stand there. So we were supposed to leave, even with missiles possibly flying in? Just awful.

It’s a beautiful, welcoming, and cozy place. The service especially stood out. Igor, the waiter, clearly loves people, and you can tell he loves his work. He’s a real professional.
