The rooms were good, and everything felt safe. The staff were unfriendly.

Good location, but it was dirty and the staff didn’t speak English.

This so-called hotel is really more like a hostel, inside a residential building on the third floor. The receptionist was polite and explained things without any fuss, but the room itself was awful. The bathroom was filthy, there were cobwebs, and the linens were dirty. Stains were everywhere, even on the chair. The floor looked like something from a horror movie, with long red marks on the radiators and ceiling. The chandelier was missing, and a bulb dangled from a cord that looked ready to fall on someone. There was no real soundproofing: we could hear neighbors and street noise. The front door to our room looked like it could be kicked in, with cracks all around and barely holding together. The Wi-Fi was erratic and too slow to load a movie, so we decided to leave. We got our money back for the paid nights without any questions. Think carefully about whether this place is worth the stress and risk to your health. I absolutely wouldn’t recommend Cleopatra Hotel for a vacation or a stay.

I wouldn’t recommend this place. We booked three rooms for seven people, and the conditions were terrible. One room had no running water, so the girls had to ask to use it. The receptionist said the boiler had to fill and heat up. In another room, nobody was looking after it, the air conditioner didn’t work in 30-degree heat, and the windows wouldn’t open. When we complained, the receptionist kept saying it would be turned on any minute, but it only came on a day later. The next morning, with the room suffocating, we asked again. She said it wasn’t her hotel and she shouldn’t have to make decisions that early, and refused to call the owner. The rooms were poorly cleaned too, with cobwebs in the corners. The only thing worse than the hotel was outside.
