Redling Hotel

After six nights at Redling Hotel, we’ve just checked out, and this is easily the best hotel experience we’ve had in Ukraine. The staff made the place feel warm and welcoming, and it really seemed like they cared about the hotel and its guests. I don’t know how the owners and management managed to create that level of service across the team. I wanted to post this on checkout day, and I’ll put up a longer review on Booking.com soon. My advice is not to book elsewhere in Odessa, nothing compares to this international-class hotel. Thank you, Redling. At last we’ve found somewhere we want to return to!

I came for a week expecting just another hotel, but it felt special as soon as I arrived. Everything was super clean, not just my room but the whole place. It’s in a perfect spot, peaceful and away from the usual city-center noise, but still only 15-20 minutes from the center. I like to feel that I’m really in the country I’m visiting. Here I felt right among beautiful Ukrainian people. Once in Spain, I felt like I was in Bournemouth, England, so it’s nice to be somewhere that doesn’t feel like my own region. Everyone on staff, from the cleaners and security to management and the owner, smiled from the heart. There are lots of drinks to choose from, and I was surprised that the food was so good and well priced. The beach is natural and untouched, with lots of locals, which helped me feel like a tourist. I ended up staying another week. The place is just great, and I’m definitely coming next year.

The rooms are large and comfortable, the staff are nice and helpful, and the WiFi is a real plus. The restaurant serves very good food at good prices. I had no time for breakfast, so they gave me a packed lunch, one of the better ones I can remember from my travels. They also helped order a taxi and let me pay by card. I think I’ve found my hotel for future visits to Odessa.

The staff were fantastic, the rooms lovely, and the pool area great. The restaurant food was fairly good. Breakfast could be better, though that’s true of nearly every Ukrainian hotel.
