Palazzo Premier Hotel

The staff were quiet, but helpful and gentle, and they handled the basic services well. The food was inconsistent: breakfast was OK on the first day, but there was no breakfast served the next day, just a very limited menu to order from. The lobby and the name give a luxurious impression, though it disappears once you reach the rooms. The interior feels dated and uses very cheap materials. In my room, the fixtures looked like they might have come from charity shops. The two sides of the window had different colors and materials, and the floor looked like cheap panels hastily put together.

The hotel is lovely, and the staff are very helpful. I only had breakfast there, and the buffet was very good, with the sort of options an American might expect at home. The location is great too. I’ll definitely stay here when I’m back in Poltava soon.

The restaurant food is tasty, though quite expensive. Try the stuffed halushky. The hotel is really good for cleanliness, service, and staff. One small thing, the standard rooms seem to have been renovated in a plain, old-fashioned style.

The rooms were comfortable and very clean, and reception was a big help with arranging trips. Breakfast had a good variety at the buffet. Dinner at the restaurant could be better.
