Dream Apartament

It's a bit stressful being so close to the road, but shutting the window at night makes it quiet. Inside, the apartment is bright and cozy, with a well-equipped little kitchen, a TV, and a small library. The bathroom is clean and comfortable, and the bed linen and mattress were great. The place is modern, stylish, and clean, and communication with the owner was easy.

We stayed 12 nights in the first half of January 2021, in room #1 on the 2nd floor. This is just my take on it. What worked well: the room and hallway decor, soft mattresses, a fridge, and a TV that was especially useful with an HDMI cable. There's handy shelving by the entrance, adjustable chandelier and wall lights, and a big mirror in the hall between the first and second floors. In the bathroom, the mirror is backlit and there's an extractor fan. The towels and bedding were clean and didn't smell of detergent. The street-facing windows are mirrored in daylight, except for the balcony window. The room blocks street voices, though you can hear the engine when a truck or bus passes. The owner can adjust the room temperature remotely. In town there are Nova Poshta and ATB branches, nearby grocery shops with a limited range but basics like bread, public transport, and a church whose bells sound lovely. The foothills are about 15 minutes away. Close the curtains and everything else at night :) There were some real drawbacks. Wet cleaning happened just once during our 12 days, so for spot cleaning or the floor you'd need to get a broom, dustpan, and mop. We accidentally moved the soap dish and found black mold underneath, which was disgusting. The fridge smelled of smoke, though vinegar can get rid of it. There's a railing near the beds that people often grab onto, the hall is cold and unheated, and there's too little light by the doors to see inside the closet. The sofa creaks loudly, which could bother light sleepers. Humidity was 50-68%. In the evenings, locals light fires, so airing out the room isn't really possible. The building sits above the road. When we first arrived with our suitcases, the first thing we were asked was when we'd pay, even though we'd prepaid for two days. There were cigarette butts in an ashtray on the balcony. A strong draft came under the doors, so we bought 2 meters of rubber sealing from the hardware shop near Nova Poshta. We'd mentioned the draft to the owner, but nothing had been done during our stay. There was also a strong draft from the balcony window and door, though the curtains helped. A few other details: the pump room is a comfortable 3 km walk, around 20-30 minutes. A taxi from the train station was 150 UAH, while 838 would have been 120-130 UAH. We ordered the day's set meals at Kashtan for 250 UAH: breakfast was 80 UAH for two courses and a drink, lunch 90 UAH for three courses and a drink, and dinner 80 UAH for two courses and a drink. The power went out twice while we were there, and once the gas boiler malfunctioned and woke us with a beep. There's also a transformer substation on the property, though I'm not sure if it's supposed to be there.

For up to 800 UAH a day, you can get a spacious, modern-style apartment, about 52 sq m if you like a studio layout. It has its own kitchen, parking, and a gated area. I think it's currently the most convenient place to stay and relax in Morshyn.

Mr. Igor, thanks for making our stay comfortable. We were in a studio room and liked the interior, the big windows, the comfortable mattresses and pillows, and the good shower pressure. It was useful to have access to a washing machine and iron, and the hotel's location suited us. Your recommendations helped, and you responded quickly whenever we asked for something.
