Guest House Pid Dubom

A handy place to stay if you're planning hikes to Hurkalo or Kamyanka waterfalls.

The rooms have what you need for a relaxing stay, and you barely hear trains or highway traffic inside. I liked the spot by the river and the striking terrace. The grounds also have gazebos, barbecues, and a small play area. There's a hot tub too, though we didn't try it. A few minor repairs are needed, but we had a pleasant stay. Thanks, Julia.

We rented a two-story cottage on regular weekdays in February 2025 and liked everything. The hosts, Andriy and Yulia, were warm and made an effort to check that we were happy. Yulia also asked about the price we paid, so we'll consider coming back in summer. There's a nearby ski resort that we really liked. Around the cottage are a river and a vat, and firewood is just 100 UAH per bundle. There are plenty of dishes, new barbecues, and the grounds are clean. The yard has a playground with football goals, and you can put up a net for volleyball too. It's a quiet, cozy place with fresh air, great for a break.

We took a little break before heading home, and it really was relaxing. This lovely cottage sits 3 km from Skole by the Opir River, with a beautiful mountain view. Kamyanka waterfall is only 2 km away on foot. There's a pool and 3 barbecue spots, plus vats, though we didn't get to use those this time. Our studio was for two, but there are extra sleeping places. We came on a trial trip without our dog, though the two-room apartments on the first floor allow pets, so we'll be back with her soon ❤️ The getaway was a success. Thanks for a wonderful stay ❤️
