Villa Alessia

We stayed at the villa for 4 days in August. There were some real positives: the mattresses and pillows were comfortable, and the bedding, towels and soft bathrobes were clean and white. There’s a large convenient car park, a lovely well-kept area, a pool that’s nice to sit by, a covered summer terrace and a table tennis table. But when the air got colder, the pool stopped heating and the water was cool. The rooms felt dated, somewhere around third category, with old furniture. The wardrobe wouldn’t close, the toilet door had no lock, just a hole, and the shower door wouldn’t shut fully and made a terrible squeak when we tried. The corridor is very cramped and, surprisingly, has no mat. After walking in the rain we tracked mud into the room, where it spread around. The food was very basic, too basic, like a Soviet sanatorium. Breakfast might be fresh cabbage, a boiled egg with a blue yolk, two pieces of sausage, probably the cheapest, smeared with ketchup, and one piece of cheese. Dinner, for example, costs 350 UAH per person for buckwheat, a cutlet, vegetables and a biscuit. I tried two of their desserts and neither was good. The stew is tasty, but 50 UAH for a glass is too expensive, and I wouldn’t say it’s delicious. Local cafes are cheaper and have much more interesting menus. The kitchen workers were friendly and always smiling, unlike the villa manager. He wasn’t friendly or sociable and never greeted us. He seemed constantly angry, and after talking to him I felt like I was taking someone else’s place here for free. In my opinion, the accommodation price is too high. I won’t return or recommend it to others.

We stayed at Olesya's villa from September 14 to 20, 2025, and were very happy with our holiday. Special thanks to the cook Lucy, whose delicious dishes make the place feel cozy and homely. You can eat for less in Skhidnytsia, but Lucy's cooking is worth what we paid. The pool is warm, the grounds are beautiful, and you’re guaranteed a comfortable stay.

My parents have just returned from their holiday, and I wanted to thank the hotel on behalf of all of us. They were delighted with the whole trip, the hotel and the way they were treated. They spoke with real admiration and gratitude about administrator Mr. Andriy and the cook, whose name I’m sorry I can’t remember. A big thank you again for your patience and coordination. I strongly recommend the hotel to anyone interested! 🤩

A spoiled holiday is putting it mildly. Don’t trust the five-star reviews, our experience was the opposite. The included breakfast was trash, and we went to restaurants at other hotels, which were even cheaper. There was no hospitality or friendliness at all. The manager, Mr. Andrey, acts like the most authoritative “shark” in the hotel business. He could at least greet guests.
