Central Studio

The main drawback was the noise at night: street racers under the windows after 10 pm made it hard to sleep. The toilet tank also leaked and made noise, and I wished the shared corridor had motion sensor lights, since finding a switch in a dark, unfamiliar hallway is a hassle. I stayed two nights and liked the room. It had a comfortable bed, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a balcony with a lovely view. Some rooms don’t have balconies, so keep that in mind. There was also a TV, refrigerator and hairdryer. A kettle, dishes and iron were in the shared kitchen, though I didn’t use them. The location is very central: five minutes to the pond, five to the station, two to the theater square and just 20 seconds to the cathedral.

The apartment is on the second floor of a residential building, with three rooms and a shared kitchen. Each room has its own bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with a stove, microwave, kettle, dishes, ironing board and iron, among other things. There’s a refrigerator, hairdryer and toiletries in the room. Everything was clean, tidy and spacious. The representative met me at the agreed time, handed over the keys and explained how to use the room and kitchen. Sound carries badly between rooms. I could hear water running next door, and even normal conversation came through. A neighbor watching TV for a long time or arriving late and banging around in their room can make it difficult to sleep.

The view from the window was so good that it made up for a lot, and I’d definitely come back. The hotel is cozy and right in the city center, with all the main things nearby. There’s a shared kitchen with a washing machine, plus a shower and toilet in the room. The room also has a refrigerator, and nobody took our food. The kitchen didn’t have proper plates, spoons or forks, just one knife, so we had to bring oil and other things ourselves. When we ran out of toilet paper, there was nobody to replace it, and the lockers were locked, so we bought our own. Thanks.

Evgeniya gave us a warm, welcoming reception. The place was clean and cozy, with everything needed for a stay, even sugar, tea and coffee in the kitchen. It was warm too, although the radiators weren’t working this spring. I highly recommend it.
