Maybe we were just unlucky, but this hotel left me feeling that guests aren’t valued as people, only as a way to avoid losing money. They seem to think they’re always the smartest ones, and that guests should adjust to whatever suits the hotel. They give the impression they’ll meet you halfway, then somehow turn the situation around to whatever is most convenient and profitable for them. I’ve often wondered how they twist things so much that even the Lord God probably couldn’t make sense of it. Maybe it’s a talent. And when they end up in the same sort of situation they put others in, they act as if it’s a terrible injustice and get indignant beyond words. Why treat people that way? You could at least try to tell who’s a good guest and who’s a bad one. Words and actions can hurt people who deserve “Glory to the Heroes.” Some may call this slander against the hotel. Whether you believe it is up to you.
