Guest House Panorama Karpat

We had a great family stay, two adults, two children, and a baby. The terrace has an incredibly beautiful view, and it’s close to the Zakhar Berkut ski lift and other lovely places. Our room for four had two bedrooms and the basics we needed: clean bedding and towels, a small kitchen with dishes and appliances, Wi-Fi, and decent water pressure with hot water too. The beds were comfortable and didn’t creak. The sauna and hot tub were wonderful. The hosts stayed in touch through Viber, which was handy. Kyivstar mobile service wasn’t stable, but here that was a plus for us, a chance to switch off from everything. We’re very happy with the stay and plan to come again. The hosts were kind, attentive to details, and ready to help with any questions. They planned out excursions for several days and stayed in touch throughout. We had such a memorable break at Green House Panorama Karpat. Coffee on the balcony felt special with those views, and after hiking the Carpathian hills, the warm bath and the vat by the house were just what we needed to relax. It’s hard to find the right words for how lovely it was.

The access is easy, with no obstacles, and the owners treated us well. The accommodation was better than at hotels, and I’m grateful to them for that. It’s a lovely place to unwind with a beautiful view. Book ahead, and have a good rest!

We stayed for 2-3 days, and it was a decent place to relax. The host was friendly, and you can get there in a regular car when there isn’t much snow. The view from the kitchen and three rooms is genuinely beautiful. Nearby, there’s a lift to Ilza mountain, with a toboggan and a beginner ski lift. There are some real downsides, though. Nobody clears the snow around the house, and there’s ice in places, which is inconvenient. The house has two floors, with the owners in a separate part of the first floor. A fireplace in the kitchen and dining area heats the whole house, and at around 0° or a little below it was fine, but it could be uncomfortable in colder weather. It feels like they cut corners on heating. The electricity was unreliable and often went out. Even with a boiler, we couldn’t wash properly. The rooms were fairly clean, though the hosts could do a better job cleaning. It seemed to have what you need to sleep and eat, but the whole place left me with a feeling of stinginess. The bathhouse was good, with a small pool and shower. There’s also a large open gazebo in the yard beside the barbecue, though firewood was 75 UAH for only a few pieces.
