The restaurant's hospitality is amazing. This is my best-kept secret!

I'm loving it.

The room was clean and nice, with a good view, and the location is right by the ski lift. That was the main plus. The rest of the stay was frustrating from the start. We arrived at 5 a.m. after being on the road, and although we'd paid for the room from the previous day, there were no towels or toilet paper and nobody to ask. I ended up asking for that paper every day. The shared corridor had a chair that seemed to be the way to communicate with staff and pass things back and forth, like plates, but it disappeared. The maid said the paper was on a communal table. I took some once, not knowing if it was meant for someone else or if it was a first-come-first-served situation, and after that I had to ask them to bring more every day. There were shared shoe shelves, and we couldn't dry shoes in the room. I eventually asked to use the boiler room. Once my child put on slippers that were wet from snow dripping off someone else's shoes. At least there's a cafe nearby where you can take food to your room, but we ordered there before we knew our way around. They don't have coffee, just brewed coffee topped up with boiling water. The banosh came with sweet cheese, and the same dishes seemed to turn out differently each time. Getting an instructor arranged was another mess. We agreed on a time the first day and waited an hour. The next day we set something up through Ryzyda, but we couldn't really go anywhere while waiting. After half an hour we went to find the instructor, who said he knew nothing and had just been messing around, like we were, and now had other people. He pushed our meeting back another hour, which I figured would become an hour and a half. We agreed at first, then went off to do what we wanted and had a great time anyway. We found a wonderful, professional instructor, ate well, and enjoyed ourselves, but all the best parts were outside this complex. A conversation with locals about the family's hatred of our defenders and their pro-Russian position was the final straw. I don't want to come back.

We had an incredible vacation, a full 5/5. The hosts' attitude was the best part, simply amazing. Special thanks to the owners, Ryzyda Kamilivna and Andriy Vasilyevich, who personally run the business and helped us with everything from A to Z. The service was excellent, the food delicious, and there's a ski resort right where you're staying, plus a bathhouse and a vat. Wonderful place and wonderful hosts!
