Eco Terem

The sea was just a five-minute walk away, and the guesthouse was far enough from the embankment that we couldn't hear music or shouting through the night. We stayed with two families from August 1, 2021, to August 4, 2021. We needed a three-bed and a four-bed room, but none of the latter were available. So the two adults and two children in our group shared a three-bed room with two single beds and a fold-out sofa. They didn't ask us to pay extra, which was amazing. Breakfast came with the price, and the food was tasty with generous portions. The rooms and grounds were clean, and you could see the staff working hard. On our last day, our ride didn't line up with checkout, but management let us leave our bags and stay on the grounds. There were a few minor issues, but we came to enjoy our vacation and didn't let the little things bother us. Thanks for the warm welcome and wonderful stay. The pool was great, and both the kids and adults enjoyed it. Our family found the rooms just as described, and the food was good. The woman cooking was pleasant, and her food was delicious. Prices were reasonable, and there's a designated smoking spot at one of the tables. There were frustrating problems too. Hot water was usually just lukewarm, and at times there was no water at all. The internet didn't reach the third floor, so I could only get online at the first-floor tables. The TV was there but nearly useless, with only three channels. Zakhar, the manager, was unfriendly. Sometimes he didn't even apologize, which really brought down the mood. I'd like them to care more about quality. We've had several unpleasant experiences, and it left a bad taste. We'd return next year if there were a different manager, but I don't want one person to spoil my vacation.

For a quiet, relaxing family holiday, I highly recommend EcoTerem. The sea is an easy six-minute walk, prices are reasonable, and the food is homemade, tasty, varied, filling, and served in generous portions. It's peaceful and never crowded. The staff do their jobs well without being pushy or overly chatty. I can't say what was behind the negative reviews, but my family and I thought the hotel was superb.

This was our second year staying at Ecoterem, and it feels like home. The small property has clean, well-kept grounds, cozy rooms, tasty food, friendly staff, a pool, and a trampoline for kids. It's just 2-3 minutes from the sea, and everything matches what the hotel's website says. Thanks to the hosts for their hospitality. We'll be back, and only to Ecoterem. I just wish the rooms were cleaned more often and the towels changed.
