There’s a beach extension where you can have food and drinks while enjoying the cool breeze, and the staff are very friendly. You can watch local fishermen at work, and boats of all kinds can be hired from there. Lake Victoria is right here in Entebbe, about a 10-minute drive from the main airport. You can walk roughly 100 meters to swim in the lake, though you do so at your own risk.

The elegant decor and lovely lobby made a strong first impression, and check-in was smooth. The staff were attentive and welcoming from the time I arrived. I recently stayed at anderita beach hotel and was impressed by its luxury and service.

The staff are always helpful, and I enjoy walking by the lake. The monkeys in the front garden are fun to watch, too. I've stayed here for years, especially as a convenient stop when a midnight flight arrives in Entebbe. The A/C doesn't always work; when that happened, they took a few shillings off my room rate. I'm a loyal customer.
