After checking out, I left my belongings at the front desk for a short time. When I came back, I found that someone had gone through my suitcase and taken clothes and other personal items. The manager didn’t seem to care when I called. The service was below standard, and the place itself was terrible. It made me wonder if this is how they make money. Think twice before going there.

Breakfast still wasn’t ready by 9am, and the beds and sheets were lousy. The rooms were filthy too. For the over 100K I paid, it wasn’t worth it at all. It felt like a lodge costing 20K. The worst hotel experience of my life. Don’t waste your time or money.

I stayed for a week for a residential conference and really felt at home. The staff were warm and hospitable, the meals were high quality, and breakfast was great. There was warm water in the shower too. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Jinja.

We asked for a refund, but the manager couldn’t find a solution. Since we’d already paid on arrival, we couldn’t just leave and pay only for the first night. When I asked again, he gave me his boss’s number. I explained what had happened, but the boss hung up and wouldn’t answer again. That was the worst hotel service I’ve ever experienced. What kind of customer service is that?

Maybe I happened to visit on a busy night, but there’s very little to like here. The walls are decaying, the faucets are broken, and there’s dust and cobwebs everywhere. It has the feel of a deserted, run down colonial era building. With a location this strategic, you’d think the owners would make the most of it, but it feels like they’re trying to milk an unfed cow.
