The lake view makes this a nice spot for a family break, and there are comfortable, luxurious cottages and family spaces. It’s peaceful downtown, with road access, the hospital and places of worship nearby. Security is good, the staff are friendly and active, and it’s easy to arrange communication and transport vans.

A well-located place to unwind and spend a vacation.

The room didn't even have the basics, including lights and a hot shower. We were also misled by the listing, which advertised a pool, but there wasn't one when we arrived. When we called the manager to sort it out, he hung up on us. That was very unprofessional and completely unacceptable.

It’s kept in good condition and is in a very quiet spot in Kalangala, just a few meters from Stabex fuel station. The Entebbe Birding Club team visited.

wamala Resort is affordable, so I’d recommend it if you’re traveling on a budget. The staff are friendly and attentive, greeting you with warm smiles at check-in and willing to handle special requests. Room service is okay, and housekeeping keeps things in order.
