The apartment was spotless, well looked after, and cleaned every day. We also found the staff attentive and quick to respond, and the air conditioning kept things comfortable in the heat. The property felt very secure, which made our Christmas stay at Bon Bini Residence in Kampala easy and relaxing. My wife and kids would happily stay here again on our next Uganda visit. I’d recommend it to anyone wanting a clean, comfortable place in Kampala.

Muyenga is a nice area, but our nine-day stay was awful. Something went wrong every day, from the electricity to the toilets and plumbing. Staff came by daily and acted as if they were fixing things, but nothing was resolved. There were no kitchen lights for the whole stay, so we couldn't use it at night, and none of the air conditioners worked. They said there was an electrical overload, as if that were our problem. There was mold in several places, which could be harmful to our health, and leaks flooded the entire kitchen while we were asleep. We also had no water at all for two days, so we couldn't wash or flush.

Samuel, the manager, the owner Madame, Julius at the door, the pool employee, and all the crew were so welcoming and helpful. They even helped us right up to the last minute so we could get to the airport, which made everything feel easy and calm. Our first-class apartment was very good value and faced a beautiful swimming pool that was always really clean. A wonderful place, and we'd gladly come back to Bon Bini residence in Kampala.
