The space worked well for the number of people I invited to my graduation party, and we had a lovely time. It was a good experience overall. I'd happily recommend it, and will probably book it again in the future.

It's a nice spot, but finding it from Bombo road can be tricky.

It's a beautiful place, and the hospitality is great. Just bring cash, since they don't take credit cards. Kampala can feel a little sketchy, and the nearest ATM is a kilometer away if you need to withdraw money.

We had a memorable wedding reception at Emerald Hotel Kampala. The spacious venue had a lovely atmosphere, and we enjoyed the catering. Staff kept things running smoothly and were attentive throughout. There were a few small things that could be improved, but we appreciate the effort and would recommend it as an affordable, convenient venue for a wedding.

The gardens at Emerald hotel are beautiful, the staff were friendly and helpful, and having breakfast outside in the garden almost made me forget the state of the rest of the hotel. I stayed Aug 24 - Aug 30/2024, at the end of August, when the weather was great. It was the filthiest hotel I've ever stayed in. The whole place stinks, and there were small roaches everywhere. The linen and towels didn't look clean, the shower didn't work properly, and the toilet seat was disgusting and broken. They replaced it after I complained, though I forgot to take a picture of it. The lighting was poor, the internet kept cutting out, and the AC didn't work in some of our rooms. A terrible experience. I would never come back. I should've booked the Airbnb I found for half the price.
