The buffet had plenty to choose from, including fruit, baked goods, and food from the live kitchen, and it was delicious. My room was clean and spacious, with an attached balcony that was great for relaxing. The pool was clean and had a lifeguard, and there was also a fitness centre with a trainer, plus a poolside bar and restaurant. Staff across the hotel, from the security guards to room service, were friendly, quick to help, and always greeted us with a warm smile. A wonderful stay. Keep it up, Team Fairway!

We came for the New Year's party and fireworks, and both were really great. The food was very good and fairly priced, and the staff made us feel welcome with warm, excellent service. It’s a lovely hotel with an interesting history. The only drawback for us was that there wasn’t an elevator to the area where our room was.

The grounds are lovely, with lots of greenery, and the infrastructure is good. Breakfast had plenty of options and was very good. The staff were kind, friendly, and attentive. There are cats wandering around, too. This was the best hotel experience I’ve had, and I recommend it.

We found it relaxing, with cozy, clean rooms that were comfortable and well equipped. The location is handy for getting to many Kampala attractions. Staff were welcoming, and the restaurant had plenty of tasty dishes. The pool was a nice spot to unwind. A solid option for a short visit or a longer stay.

At checkout, I was charged an extra USD 35 per person after booking a double, even though the online rate was cheaper. The pricing wasn’t made clear, which needs to improve. Ask about every charge at check-in to avoid a surprise like mine.
