Golden Tulip Canaan Kampala

Our team of 12 spent three weeks at Golden Tulip Canaan Kampala, starting November 23, and the stay was excellent. We found the setting comfortable, welcoming, and professional, with a very fair rate and consistently helpful service. We’re grateful to the whole team and plan to return. Several people made a special difference. Kasi in Housekeeping kept our rooms spotless each day, with kindness and attention to detail. Paul, the Bell Boy, welcomed us, managed our luggage, patiently guided us, and was always available. At the restaurant, John and Angela made every meal enjoyable with friendly, attentive service. Lidya, Rahel, Gillian, Shewit, and Tigisti at Front Office Reception handled daily requests, room changes, early check-ins, and questions professionally and with a smile. Dawit in Management coordinated things behind the scenes, responding quickly and supporting us with calm professionalism.

Emmanuel and his team were friendly and very attentive, and the food was delicious. The rooms are comfortable and have the usual hotel amenities. It’s a fantastic hotel in an easy-to-reach spot, with quiet rooms and amazing views of the mountains and city. I’d highly recommend it.

The top-floor view over Kampala’s skyline is breathtaking and adds a special touch to a visit. I recently attended a meeting at Golden Tulip Kampala and was impressed by the warm welcome, with friendly, attentive staff who made me feel at ease. The meals were another highlight, beautifully prepared, flavorful, and sumptuous. It’s a great option for meetings, dining, or just relaxing with a view of the city.

From the top floor, number 10, you can see Kololo Hill, Kamwokya’s high-rise neighborhood, and nearly 360 degrees of the surrounding area. The high-rise hotel sits on Nakasero Hill in central Kampala and is known among international tourists. It’s easy to reach via Yousf Lule road, just after the turn onto Kyadondo road. There’s good food and service, solid security, and a nice neighborhood. Kololo’s lively bars are nearby for a memorable night out. The hotel offers a medium to lower-high class level of luxury.
