Hillview Apartments

I was traveling from Mable to Kampala and got hungry, so I stopped at hillview apartment. The place felt so peaceful when I walked in, almost like heaven, and I ended up staying the night. The rooms and bedroom were good, and Hillview apartment is in a pleasant environment in Kampala. They have good security and care about customers. People from outside should visit.

The room was comfortable and the indoor pool was just like the photo on the hotel website, large, clean, and warm. It was a great way to start the day. Staff impressed me throughout, and when I asked about hiring a tuxedo for the evening, they arranged it all. The maids kept my room immaculate every day, and the receptionist was friendly and extremely helpful. I travel to Kampala monthly for work with an international company, and stayed at Hill view apartments on a business trip in the five star suit listed in the hotels quide as their best room for business travellers. The street outside was very noisy, and seemed to get even louder from 2am as people left the local bars for taxis. The shampoo and conditioner weren’t great, but the hotel standard overall and the exceptional staff service were second to none. I’ll stay here again.

There are spacious one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments, priced from $60 to $90 per day, with laundry and cleaning included. The view is beautiful, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There's an Indian restaurant next door, so food isn't a problem, and the pantry has all the equipment if you'd rather prepare your own meals.

The apartments are roomy and get plenty of natural light, with practical layouts and modern kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Some older units could use small updates, and while maintenance requests are usually handled promptly, more complex problems can sometimes take longer. Management is professional, responsive, and easy to reach, though communication about policy changes or planned maintenance has been inconsistent for some residents. The staff are approachable and friendly. The neighborhood has a quiet, suburban feel and is generally safe. Hillview Apartments is close to grocery stores, schools, public transport, and other essential services. Residents have a fitness center, swimming pool, communal area, and clean, well-kept laundry facilities, although not every unit has its own laundry. Parking is plentiful, but getting a space near your building can be difficult late in the evening. It's a reasonably priced, well-located option for comfortable living, and my experience was positive. There are a few areas to improve, especially unit updates and communication.
