The sofa looks like it’s never been washed, and the breakfast is so poor and scant that it wouldn’t even feed a two-year-old. If you want to be treated like a beggar, just visit this hotel.

Read the warnings and run away. The only decent thing was the front sitting patio. The toilet in the room was awful, the bed gave me back pain, and the narrow slippery stairs felt dangerous. There was exposed wiring, and the TV didn’t work. The bathroom was a death trap, with live wiring by the hot water. Traffic was noisy all day and night. Staff seemed trained to spot foreigners, with prices immediately changing to dollars. There were also some funny massage pallars at the back. Breakfast was awful too. In general, run away.

I stayed one night and booked another hotel the very next day. The only good thing was the location, beside the main road and near a large supermarket. I’d read good reviews online before booking, but the rooms were old and dirty, with stained sheets and cockroaches roaming around. Avoid it and find somewhere else.

We really liked it here. There’s a restaurant and spa on site, and the prices are fair. They nearly charged us a skin tax, but we showed them the price we’d found online.
