Hotel Kenrock

We travel as a group, and Hotel Kenrock works perfectly for us. The brilliant staff team and Mr Suresh always look after us well. We'll be back, thank you.

I enjoyed the gardens and the very quiet setting, which was good for reading as a student. Hotel Kenrock feels like a home away from home, with a comfortable bed, good meals, excellent service, and caring, helpful staff. The Hotel Manager Mr. Aaron is superb, humble, and very welcoming, and he cares about what customers need. The area feels safe and secure, with easy access to supermarkets, hospitals, and many other services. Fair prices and all these good things mean it'll be my regular place whenever I'm in Kampala. The gardens give you room to get some work done while sipping a cold drink 🍸👌, and accommodation is very cheap. It's a good option for budget travellers. The hotel is ordinary and basic, but sits near lots of useful services: an Internet café, restaurants, supermarkets, ice cream places, hospitals, and local food spots, among other things. The staff are very nice, though a little slow. If you order a meal, it may take longer than normal.

Staff are very friendly, and the price is amazing, which matters to me. Noise was the main problem: you can hear everything going on, and it's loud at many hours of the night, so it's hard to sleep well. Maybe another room would be quieter.
