The resort's natural surroundings are calming, and the food was tasty with generous portions. The food and beverage service was down to earth. Still, we had a hard time with the manager's choice of words. Ms Zaituni did try to understand us, especially when I spoke to her as the person who brought the couples outing team, but honestly she came across as somewhat rude. At night, after we'd gone to our rooms, something on the shower broke in one teammate's bathroom. I was told it was a mixer. The woman who broke it went straight to the manager at checkout, and she had also told the front office person what happened. After an angry discussion, her husband was made to pay 200000 directly to Ms Zaituni's number. The mixer wasn't new or in good condition, yet they were asked to pay for an entirely new one, with no negotiation. Some people I know really want to use the place for a gathering, but I'm afraid to recommend it. Please handle this. Thank you.

The breeze hits you first, and the whole place feels like a good spot to sit quietly and meditate. There’s plenty of parking, the road in is fully paved, and it works well for all kinds of occasions. I’d recommend it for families.

The premises are well organized, and I appreciate the management for that. But Ms zaituni Williams Birabwa, the manager, doesn't listen to clients and her customer care is poor. The rooms are old and need renovating, yet the cost is passed on to clients. I paid 335,000 for a day and a night, then was charged 200k over an alleged broken handle on an old bath shower. The money was received directly on her line, not in the names of katomi resort beach. Why should a guest have to pay that?

The breeze here has just the right direction and strength for ground handling, so my husband and I came back several times while he practiced paragliding. I first went to sit by the beach, and found it peaceful, with lots of green garden, fresh air, and a really tranquil feel.

The staff are welcoming and good, and the place feels like a second home. I keep coming back, but the sunset over the lake still gets me every time. The scenery and natural surroundings make it such a beautiful place to relax. Can't wait to visit again.
