On my wedding day, the hotel served the food I’d booked for my guests to 40 tourists instead, apparently planning to cook more for us later. My guests ended up with rice and soup. I had booked the wedding hall and food at 55,000 ugsh per person, so this was a horrible experience. Before payment, the reception was good, but once I’d paid, I felt treated like rubbish. They then added another 2.875m ugsh. When I tried to speak with management, they kept saying I couldn’t talk to the manager until I finished paying. After I paid, despite the stress and charges I considered fraudulent, they said the manager had been discontinued from work and brought me a very hycic lady. While I was explaining what happened, she turned to a new hotel guest. I left Nyumbani hotel makerere kikoni with a deeply upsetting experience.

The glass they gave me with my drink was really dirty, and the way the waitress spoke to us was disappointing. After I ordered a soft drink, she said we should leave if we weren’t going to spend more than 20,000 shillings. I’d planned to have lunch, but instead of asking whether I wanted another drink or food, she brought up a two-hour limit for guests who didn’t spend that much. Is two hours really enough to enjoy the service? I don’t think this is an acceptable way to treat customers, and I’m unhappy with the service.

The location was a little hard to find, but the food was okay. Great rooms and spectacular service.

I slept well here, with no night traffic noise, and found the location peaceful. The parking area is huge, spacious, and secure, and the gentleman at reception was welcoming. The room was neat, bright, and air conditioned, with a TV that worked perfectly. I watched the World Cup matches at the same time without interference. The shower had warm water, the intercom worked excellently, and there was a closet with hangers. Having drinking water in the room was a nice touch. The bed was warm, though the polythene underneath made it a bit uncomfortable. Really nice, keep it up.
