The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to wind down in the evening, especially with the sunset over the city. I also really enjoyed the meals: breakfast had plenty of fresh local and international choices, and dinner at the in-house restaurant was excellent. The chef’s roasted duck was one of the best things I’ve eaten in a long time. My room had a comfortable bed with plush pillows, a cosy seating area, a stocked minibar, and a spacious bathroom with a rainfall shower and quality toiletries. The window looked out over the city, and the furnishings felt both comfortable and luxurious. The hotel itself has classic architecture and thoughtful interiors, right in the city while still feeling quiet. Staff made me feel welcome from the start. Check-in was quick, and the concierge even arranged a last-minute table at a popular local restaurant. The one letdown was the fitness centre, which was smaller than I expected and missing some equipment I’m used to. It still worked for a quick workout.

I had such a happy, enjoyable stay at Maries Royale Hotel. The service felt so extraordinary that I can’t imagine finding it anywhere else, and it really felt like heaven on earth. Thanks to everyone who looked after guests there. The tip I left didn’t feel like enough, and I’m already looking forward to coming back. Eat like a king and sleep like a queen!

Just imagining a day at Maries Royale takes my worries away. The rooms are thoughtfully designed and have a lovely atmosphere. Being there must feel like heaven. I appreciate the work they do.

The staff were a real highlight for me. Everyone was welcoming, friendly, and efficient, and the restaurant served delicious Ugandan and international dishes. I also appreciated the free parking, Wi-Fi, outdoor pool, bar, fitness centre, and conference facilities. My room was roomy and stylish, with air conditioning, a flat-screen TV, and a comfortable bed. The hotel has a calm, peaceful feel that made it easy to relax. It's in Bunga Soya on Ggaba Road in Kampala, and for a 3-star hotel, it felt like a lovely find. I had a very enjoyable stay and would happily return. Marie’s Royale Hotel is a great choice if you want comfort, a quiet setting, and kind service.

I’ve never stayed at a better hotel. The food and drinks were good, the surroundings were lovely and cool, and the security was awesome. The waiters and waitresses were great too. It’s the kind of place everyone should visit for a memorable vacation.
