Pearl Apartments seemed like a lovely place for my young family during our July holiday in Kampala, until staff burgled us late at night. The police handled the situation as best they could, but Pearl Apartments offered little beyond lip service. Our holiday plans were delayed, my husband had to jump through hoops, and my son had to give countless statements. Months later, they still say they’re working on our insurance claim, but only after going quiet for weeks at a time. I’m left wondering if they’re hoping we’ll get tired of asking for updates. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’d received the insurance money and kept it, along with the money for our stolen belongings. I’ll never stay there again. Anyone concerned about their privacy and family’s security should look elsewhere.

It’s a peaceful, quiet place, and I like it. Everything about it is good.

It’s like a home of paradise. We only need to wish for the things we may not have, while working from there.

The rooms are nice, and the view over Lake Victoria is lovely. It’s a very quiet place with good security.

The apartments are great, and you’ll find them along Lukuli Road.
