Zara Gardens Apartments by Karibu Stays

The rooms were beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and I really appreciated the hospitality during our organization workshop at Zara Garden Hotel. Mercy and Mary took great care of us and kept checking in, and Patience and Sharon also provided wonderful service. I’d gladly stay here again whenever I’m in Kampala.

The rooms were spotless, fresh, and comfortable throughout my stay, and the housekeeping team kept them that way. I also really appreciated Getrine in the restaurant. She was kind, patient, and quick to bring the meals, always with a smile. At reception, Mercy made check-in easy and gave me a warm welcome. She was professional and happy to answer my questions, which made me feel valued from the start. The hospitality at Zara Garden Hotel was lovely from arrival through checkout. I had a wonderful stay and would happily come back soon.

From the rooftop I could see so much of Kampala, from downtown and the Mukwano sides over to Lake Victoria, Kansanga, and Nsambya. “Gwe,” this place is kawa. It was peaceful too, with soft music and no noise from outside. The greenery, flowers, seating, entrance, and even the lift all looked great. Everyone who helped me, from the security officers and reception desk to the hotel and restaurant attendants, was welcoming. Mercy had mentioned the place to me a while ago, so today I finally visited. It’s just a few kilometres off Ggaba Road in Muyenga. Mercy, take me there again sometime. I want to see all seven hills of Kampala from up there.

The view from the property was stunning, and the location worked really well. The staff were friendly and professional, and there was someone available around the clock. The rooms were exceptionally clean, with very comfortable beds and plenty of storage. I’d recommend it for a solo stay or a family trip.
