The room was clean and the staff were helpful. For a European, it’s average, though by Ugandan standards it’s good. At night there was cold water, but never mind, it’s a hot area.

The peaceful surroundings and the hotel’s beauty made my stay feel like a lovely getaway. The landscape adds to the charm, and inside, the elegant design, striking architecture, and luxurious interiors are impressive. Rooms are spacious, nicely decorated, and relaxing. Highly recommended if you’re after a serene, beautiful stay at Lira Tasha Hotel.

The cottage-style rooms let you park right beside your own cottage if you want, and being away from the main road keeps the place quiet with a good ambience. It’s great value for money. The bedding and washroom could use some improvement, though.

I stayed for two nights. It was pleasant, though not luxurious, and just okay overall. Meals need to be ordered early. We placed our orders each morning before heading out, and they were always ready when we got back.

I only paid Lira Tasha Hotel a short courtesy visit, but even that brief look at its appearance and accommodations really impressed me. The food was just wow. I’d love to come back and enjoy this beautiful hotel again.
