It’s easy to get to from town, and there’s plenty of parking. The service was good. They give you a banana every day from check-in through checkout, and if you arrive by car, they’ll wash it for free. I’ll definitely return next time I visit Mbale.

There’s enough parking for cars, and they recently added a free car wash for guests who drive. I have to say, it’s a powerful marketing move. This guest house is relatively affordable and safe, right in Mbale city in the Nkokonjeru neighborhood.

The singles cost UGX 50k and 45k, and breakfast isn’t included, so you’ll need to buy your meals. The rooms are spacious and clean. There’s a restaurant where you can place an order, or you can buy food in town and eat in your room or in the rooftop sitting area.

There’s a full-time restaurant now, and the rooms and furniture have been refurbished. The guest house has clean rooms in the 30k-80k range and a cool, quiet setting for a good night’s sleep. Customer care is good, they provide drinking water and a banana to welcome guests, and breakfast is available in the same building. There’s ample parking for guests and visitors too. A good guest house in Mbale City, Uganda.
