Penthouse Inn

After several days without water and no help from the staff, we left. We’d booked for several weeks, but water was included in what we paid for and we weren’t comfortable staying without it. I tried repeatedly to reach management and never heard back. They wouldn’t refund us or get in touch, and the hotel was a waste of money. This was by far the worst place I stayed on the trip, and the whole experience was upsetting and unacceptable. When we arrived, they didn’t know we were checking in, even though I showed them the confirmation email and had booked weeks ahead. They called someone before giving us a room. It had very limited electricity, no working AC or fan, and no water. Staff said the pump had a problem that night and let us shower in an empty room with running water, but then sent us back to ours. We asked for a room with water and were told an upgrade would cost double what we’d paid. They said the water would be fixed the next day, but it wasn’t. They wouldn’t move us without a major extra charge. As we were leaving, someone casually mentioned upgrading us to a room with water, but never actually offered it. Management didn’t seem to care.
