Satellite One Hotel

The restaurant is amazing, though I can’t say anything about the rooms. We ate here several times while living in Nebbi. If you’re missing “Western food,” this is the spot. The pizza was really good, as were the chips, different kinds of chicken, and fried fish. The staff are very friendly too. Food can take a while to arrive, so be patient, it’s African time.

We’re regulars at the restaurant, and the staff are attentive and very professional. There’s a big menu with lots of options. My personal favorite is “FRIED RICE WITH CHICKEN AND AVOCADOS ON THE SIDE,” wow 🔥✨ The place is clean, tidy, and peaceful. Their pizza could use some work, though :( Still, this is the best you’ll find in Nebbi 🫶🏼

The room price feels steep for locals, though tourists may find it manageable. Rooms are nice but small, and the shower is basic, just a shower rose with no bathtub. The dining area is small and sits in the middle of the hotel. This little hotel is easy to reach from the main highway through the Centre of Nebbi Municipality. It’s built in a commercial centre, so space is limited and parking is on the street. Nebbi Municipality also makes a good base for touring the Alur Principality, in the southern part of West Nile, bordering the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Customer service is nice, and the bar is nice too. It’s very quiet, with plenty of parking inside and out, though there usually aren’t many customers or visitors around. The showers are basically good, not high standard but nice for the rate. The conference hall is small, and many locals find the room price difficult to afford. It’s currently the best place in Nebbi municipal.
