New Palm Royal Hotel

I didn't stay there, but I looked at four rooms before deciding to find somewhere else. The rooms were spacious and affordable, but I was disappointed by the housekeeping: every toilet bowl I checked had sediment built up, so they didn't look like they were being cleaned.

A new hotel right in the heart of Rukungiri City, and it is worth a stay overall. The service was bearable, though the waiters tend to disappear late at night and need to pay more attention. Power is a general problem in Rukungiri, and the generators are turned off at night. Water can be an issue in some rooms too, with muddy water sometimes coming through and upsetting guests.

You get a nice view of town from the balcony, and the rooms are decent for an affordable price. Breakfast wasn't bad either. The service, though, could have been better.

The customer care and services are among the best in town. They have a sauna, steam bath, massage and meals, among other things, and the view over Rukungiri town is spectacular 🔥🔥🔥🔥.
