Fort Heights Home

It’s set in a quiet, green environment, safely away from the city and its unavoidable noise. The grass, flowers and trees in the grounds are well kept. Accommodation and related services are fairly priced, and the restaurant offers plenty of choice at affordable rates. I highly recommend them.

We only got to stay two nights, and I wished we’d had longer. The proprietor was humble and gracious, making time for tea and coffee and a good chat about all kinds of things before we left. When our transport was delayed, he let us stay past checkout. From arrival onward, Ms. Stella and her team made us feel welcome. The rooms were spotless, so clean that even though I was barefoot much of the time, the soles of my feet stayed completely clean. The food was really nice and arrived on time. I can’t wait to spend more time at Fort Heights when I get the chance. Highly recommended, and many thanks to the proprietor and especially the staff who made our stay memorable. I could write more!

A perfect hideout if you like being away from the city bustle.

We loved the Chapatis and katogo, and it was great being able to talk over the menu and set a breakfast time that worked with our early morning schedule. Kitchen service was absolutely fantastic. The place is lovely and homely, and the rooms are on point. I enjoyed my stay, though it’s a shame we only had two nights. We’ll definitely return.
