If you're in Hoima, this is a must stay. The staff are friendly and professional, and the hotel is clean and secure. The doors use automated card access. They just need to get white towels.

The room is spacious and clean, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. The toilet and bathroom are hard to access, and there's no wardrobe for suitcases or clothes. Breakfast wasn't very interesting, though the other food was fine. Overall, it's fine for a short stay.

I enjoyed the pork, and the rooms are among the best, with bathtubs and a choice of bathing gel or hard soap. The gardens are very small and seem to be there mainly for the bar clients.

The staff are nice, but they need training in how to deal with people properly. The food is fine, yet meals were super slow throughout our stay. We arrived on Monday and left on Saturday, and in one case the wait from ordering to the table was over 45 minutes. It wasn't just a one off. The hotel feels odd, almost inside out, though I can't quite explain why. Reception is on the ground floor, and with all the tile and marble, you can hear the TV and phone calls from reception upstairs in your room. It's clean enough for where it is. Hoima has struck oil, so the area is going to move upmarket. If a major chain hotel comes in and Glory Summit Hotel doesn't improve, it'll be left behind. Management should take a trip to Javas and sit and observe.
