The hosts make you feel at home with how kind and welcoming they are. It has a lovely family feel, and the food is amazing, authentic Ugandan cooking. A really wonderful homestay and a great way to experience Uganda. Highly recommend!

Shamia helped us organize everything, from a safari in Queen Elizabeth to the Saturday boat trip and Sunday's hike. The prices matched what we were told, and she had answered all our questions before we booked, so we already felt looked after. We were collected at the bus stop and welcomed with a drink. Our room was clean, there was hot water, and breakfast was served at a time that suited us. I'd definitely return. Thanks so much!

The price was twice our budget, but I was keen to spend even one short night at Lights of Kazinga. We slept really well in the quiet and darkness, and the simple accommodation was comfortable and thoughtfully arranged. The food was delicious, service attentive, and communication clear and considerate, with sincere conversation too. I especially value the work they do for the community. It's a very worthy cause, carried out well, and I'd gladly come back and recommend staying here to support it.
