The staff at Rena Akasha were so friendly and went out of their way to make our stay special. One morning they brought us a jug of hot water for bathing, and the breakfast and meal were the most delicious food I’ve had in Uganda. We felt thoroughly spoiled, and the whole experience was memorable. I’d definitely recommend staying a night and would happily come back anytime.

We were exhausted after a long day when we arrived late at night, and the owners greeted us with such a big, lovely smile. The room was the best we’d had so far, with two huge double beds, a large bathroom just for us, and Wi-Fi. We slept so comfortably, like children. The next day they made us plenty of food, including a typical Ugandan dish just for us. They even gave us some rolex to take for lunch, which was a really kind touch. We’re very grateful to the hotel and its owners, and recommend it 100%.

It’s quiet and close to town, but there was no hot shower in the room. The beds sit quite low, and the mattresses weren’t very comfortable. It could work if you’re stuck and just need somewhere to crash.
