We were served raw croissants and pain au chocolat, along with spoiled milk. That’s a serious food safety concern and could cause food poisoning. When I told a staff member, he seemed completely indifferent and asked what he was supposed to do, instead of apologising or fixing the problem. The hygiene, lack of accountability and basic customer care were shocking. Serving food that may be unsafe and brushing off a guest’s concern so casually is disgraceful. I won’t return and can’t recommend the place.

This place has been a migrant hotel for a while. They’ve only just shipped them out and started taking public bookings again. I wouldn’t go back.

The staff were the best part for me, so kind and friendly, and always happy to help. The hotel is fairly quiet, with a bus stop nearby for getting into the city centre and a supermarket close by too. My room was bright, spacious and immaculately clean, with everything I needed, and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant has lovely panoramic windows. Cleanliness clearly matters here. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone. Best hotel in Aberdeen!

We stayed for two nights on a staycation and really liked the cozy, clean room. The facilities were great for the very good price, and the kitchen came in handy. We also appreciated the complimentary snacks and helpful staff. They could provide a travel cot for our infant. The bedside light was too bright for sleeping, and we expected more from the breakfast package for the price.

Good value for money, and the room facilities are good. The shower was great, breakfast was fine and the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. My previous room clearly hadn’t been cleaned, but this time it was almost spotless, so it seems to depend on who’s cleaning and whether it’s supervised. The TV service was poor, with half the channels missing. After a full day at the hospital I was too tired to complain, though it would have been nice to get at least the four main channels.
