The breakfasts were our favourite in Scotland, with fresh fruit and vegetables alongside delicious homemade dishes. We came for a trip that mixed work and holiday, and the stay turned out far better than we expected. The grounds are beautifully kept and the setting is just right. Everything was spotless, with the little details taken care of. The hosts are kind and genuinely thoughtful, and made the place feel warm and homely. There’s a lovely sense of calm and authenticity here. We’d be happy to return someday.

I loved the peaceful views and how carefully breakfast was put together, especially the homemade jams you could buy. The historic house has a lovely layout, and the owners were so nice. In the room, the crisp sheets, double sinks and separate bath were all great. Room 2 also had a tub with a view of the River. Such a dream stay.

The little touches really stood out, especially Garry’s baking and jams, which are a must. We also enjoyed the honesty bar’s good selection of local spirits. Joyce made us feel so welcome, the beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast showed off the best of Deeside. The service was wonderful from start to finish. Joyce and Garry’s home is a real find, and we couldn’t have been happier. I’d recommend it to anyone. Scottish hospitality at its best.

Joyce and Garry are lovely hosts, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast and afternoon cake were six-star, and I’ll be needing more of Garry’s marmalade soon. We’ve travelled all over the world, and this is the friendliest, most comfortable place we’ve stayed. Our first visit to Lys Na Greyne definitely won’t be the last. Calling it a B&B seems a bit of a shame, since it feels more like a Highland Lodge, much like the Royal residence a few miles away.

The area around the B&B is stunning, and the rooms are amazing. Joyce and Garry looked after us so well, with service that went above and beyond, and breakfast cooked just right. My husband and I had such a lovely stay at their beautiful Luxury B&B. We’d come back in a heartbeat.
