I didn’t stay myself, but my parents did for their Golden Wedding Anniversary. I wanted to make their weekend special, and eventually reached Katy on Friday evening after finding it difficult to get past the robots. She was a genuinely friendly person and so helpful, while carefully protecting my parents’ privacy and not giving away information about their stay. A huge thank you to Katy for going above and beyond. My parents had tried to keep the anniversary a secret, but their eldest daughter was at their wedding, which gave the secret away. They were so surprised and happy, thanks to Katy and me. Katy, you were a star!

The staff were friendly, helpful, and professional, and there was plenty of free onsite parking. Travelodge may not suggest luxury or elegance, but at this one you can count on a clean, spacious room, a comfortable bed, and a bathroom with both a shower and bath. It’s tucked away in a service area a mile or two outside lovely Alcester, which is well worth visiting. The 14th century Church of St. Nicholas is about a mile away and worth a visit too, with free parking. All in all, a good night’s stay and great value.

This was our second stay, about £24 for the night, which is cheaper than camping. The rooms are spotless and come with a TV, bath, and tea and coffee facilities. Blackout curtains mean we can always lie in. We stay at a Travelodge on Sunday nights about twice a month.

I use this Travelodge often. It’s always clean, the bed is very comfortable, and there are plenty of towels. There are handy services right nearby, including a large shop, petrol station, Costa Coffee, and McDonalds. The service is welcoming and very good from everyone, and I’m particularly grateful for Katy’s assistance.
