Lauriston Hotel

I only went to the restaurant, and the food was lovely and nicely presented. Service was brilliant too. There’s easy wheelchair access. I didn’t use the toilet while I was there, though I’d imagine a place like this has easy access to one.

The food at the sports man's dinner was amazing. I wanted more and more! I’ve had evening drinks here before on past trips to Scotland, but this evening was brilliant, with such friendly, wonderful staff.

We had a very pleasant table in the 'conservatory' and a nice evening meal, with the welcoming staff looking after us. The food was good quality and there was plenty of it. The set menu was great value, and the kids menu had proper food choices, not just frozen rubbish. The a la carte looked a bit pricey, though if it’s as good as the set meal, I reckon that price is probably fair. We’d certainly come back for a family meal. Thank you.

The first worker I spoke to was rude, and the way she looked down at me left me feeling awful for the rest of the day. It’s still upsetting me now. I don’t rate places often, but this is still on my mind. I left and won’t be back. :(
