Arundel Park Hotel

I was pleasantly surprised by the clean, spacious room and its nice decor, especially given the hotel's two-star rating on an online travel agency. The grounds looked lovely, though I didn't get much chance to explore. The location is on a busy road near the train station, and my window looked out over a farm. Breakfast was decent, but I would've liked bigger portions and more variety. Staff were generally helpful, although the front desk could've been friendlier. It was a good stay that beat my expectations, and I'd consider coming back.

Free parking before check-in and after check-out was much appreciated, and breakfast in the conservatory had a cosy feel, with quality food. The rooms were spotless and service was excellent, so I expected a good stay. But our neighbours played loud music and talked from midnight until 5 am, making the night a nightmare. Please don't allow check-ins after 10 pm if that means party idiots like them can disturb everyone and undo the effort put into keeping the place in good shape.

A handy base for Arundel without being in town itself. My room had everything needed for a short visit and plenty of space. Check the heating when you arrive, though: the radiators stayed on all night, which was uncomfortable on a sunny day.

The breakfast was lovely, and the rooms were clean and beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only drawback was the noisy main road beside the guest house, which meant we had to keep the windows closed. Otherwise, it was perfect.
