It’s very handy for a Barrow football match, with the hotel just across the road. The place is a bit tired, but clean and tidy. The price was very reasonable, and I slept well. What more do you want?

The rooms were spacious and clean, and the reception staff were friendly. A good-value hotel for a visit to Barrow-in-Furness.

The location is good, and it’s a popular place. Every time I’ve visited, the service has been consistently good, with friendly, helpful staff. My one small criticism is that there’s no cupboard or drawers for clothes. That’s a shame, as with those it would have been five stars. I’d still recommend it.

The staff are always friendly and helpful, though the two rooms I stayed in were quite different: one was OK, while the other had a funky smell. They were clean enough, but the Wi-Fi was so poor I ended up using my data. That’s happened before at a Travelodge. I only stay at Travelodges because that’s where work puts me up when I’m away.

My husband stayed at Travelodge in barrow in Furness just before Christmas. He said the room was large and comfortable, and it was clean with a comfy bed.
