Our parents and the guests were delighted, and we couldn't have been happier with how it all went. The afternoon tea for their 90th birthdays was beautifully put together, with plenty of delicious savouries and cakes. The service was warm and friendly too. Thank you for making the occasion feel so special.

There were ten of us for Christmas lunch, and we enjoyed it so much that we wanted to book again for next year. The table looked lovely, and we got such a friendly welcome when we arrived. Food was brilliant, and they had no trouble catering for me as a vegetarian and another guest who was celiac. The service was fantastic. Congratulations to Barrow Haven and all the staff.

The bar staff were lovely, and the place was very dog friendly. There was plenty of parking, and I'd definitely stay again. My room was warm and clean, just the right size for me and my dog, with a hot shower, coffee-making facilities and a TV. The dog bed and bowls were a nice touch. In the morning, I opened the curtains and could see deer in the field opposite. I can't comment on the restaurant since dogs weren't allowed in that area, but I ordered food from the bar and it was fantastic, really tasty and in portions so large I struggled to finish.

The prices were very reasonable, and the staff were great. We had a laugh with them and all enjoyed the food. I had a fantastic evening with friends. My only gripe was that there wasn't much brie and cranberry in the pie, though my wife loves that combination. I'd definitely recommend the place.

The steak pie is packed with quality steak and is the best I've ever tasted. Had another lovely meal at my new local. The venue has facilities for all sorts of occasions, and the staff are really nice and provide great service.
