The beds were so good that I had the best night's sleep. Everything in the room felt modern and comfortable, and it was very clean. The hotel has a lively feel, with friendly, really helpful staff. There’s also an interesting section about the hotel’s history. It’s right beside the bus and train station, and bars, restaurants, and shops are an easy walk away. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re in Belfast.

Breakfast had a nice range of good quality food, and everyone working across the hotel was welcoming and friendly. The hotel is right in the centre and clean throughout. In the bedroom, the beds were comfortable, the decor was nice, and the window bench seat was a great touch. The shower was easy to use, with very hot water and good pressure. The blinds work with touch buttons, and the lift keypad tells you which one to take, which is handy. I’d recommend it and would stay again.

The location is great and the decor is nice, but a few things made our two-night stay at Europa less reassuring. The kettle was filthy, and on the second day housekeeping barely tidied my room. The bed looked as if someone had just slept in it. There’s also a safety issue in the bathroom: the shower is over a high-sided bathtub, and a grab bar would help. From the lobby, most guests seemed quite elderly. One afternoon the fire alarm went off, so we used the stairs to get downstairs. In the lobby, everything carried on as normal. The front desk told me it was a false alarm and apparently happens very often. That’s not good. If there were a real fire, would anyone take it seriously?

The bed was incredibly comfortable, the kind you don't want to leave after a great night's sleep. I was also pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a lovely, spacious room. The team were genuinely warm and welcoming from the moment I arrived. A fantastic stay in a brilliant central spot, and I’d happily come back or recommend it.

The room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, with a great bed and blackout curtains that helped me sleep well. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and breakfast offered plenty of hot and cold choices. The building is iconic, with a real sense of history and grandeur, and it’s in a fantastic central spot beside the Grand Opera House, with shops, restaurants, and attractions only a short walk away. Some of the furniture and carpets showed wear, and the room felt dated in places. The Wi-Fi also ran a little slowly at times. Nothing major, but enough to keep it from a five-star rating. Still, it’s a solid Belfast stay and good value for the location and service. I’d happily return and recommend it to visitors.
